As most of you know, Halloween is closing up and like many times in the past, there will be a competition held to honour the day and have fun.

I do understand that some here are not familiar with Halloween and its traditions but that will not be a problem as you have 2 weeks time to learn all you want about it and get your cameras flashing.

Competition

What you have to do is take a picture related to Halloween. There are no limits. You can upload as many pictures you like as long as they are Halloween material and they are yours! Please note that all the participating users must only make 1 post in regards to keeping this thread smooth and pleasant to the eye as it will be archived and used as a gallery sometime in the future. More explanation will be provided in the rules below.

- Rules:

• There must be no pictures contradicting with Twilight's terms and rules. Twilight MU Forum Rules. This is your first and final warning, breaking this rule will result in being disqualified from the competition, as long as receiving a punishment according to your actions.

• You may upload as many pictures as you like. But please do so in 1 POST ONLY. You just need to edit your initial post each time you want to upload a new picture. Every post will be reviewed and a discussion thread will open soon to discuss and bring some Halloween spirit to life.

• No edited pictures. This day goes way back, long before computers and Photoshop were around. Let's keep to the traditions and provide original material for the generations to come.

• Unfortunately, we're at those times when some people will try and cheat their way to the prizes. To prevent this, you are required to prove somehow that the picture is indeed yours and not Google's. Either it's a piece of paper with "Twilight" written on it or even yourself, must be included in this picture. Another suggestion would be to enable the "Show date on photograph" option in your digital cameras so we'll know that the picture was taken for this competition.

- Prizes:

- As much as we'd like to award all of you, we'll have to select only the 3 best pictures. The rest will earn a spot in Twilight's history and will be presented in a whole new thread as a gallery. It has not yet been decided how the pictures will be picked but I can assure you that the method with the least possibilities of being abused will be followed.

The prizes that have been decided are:

1. 2000 Twilight Credits for the 1st winning picture.
2. 1000 Twilight Credits for the 2nd winning picture.
3. 500 Twilight Credits for the 3rd winning picture.

Duration

As of now, you may start uploading your entries. The competition will last 2 weeks to give time even for the most inactive members to participate.

25th October - 8th November

For as long as the competition is active, you'll be able to discuss in this thread.
