Yeah a php script for this can be made to do the event fully automated... I'll need to take some time to design the pattern in which the script works and then actually code the script lol...
Anyway, how about it goes like this, you pay 1bill for a ticket and then at the end of the week a random ticket is drawn out of all the tickets, and that ticket holder will get the jackpot gathered from all the tickets' purchases... once the drawn is made all the tickets purchased that week will be erased and new week begins so people can buy new tickets... the more tickets you buy the more chances you have to be selected from the bunch of tickets...
Everything would be stored into the database so no 'keepers' would be needed...
Don't know how long it would take me to code this, also depends on my free time, but it would be doable...
