let's form a committee, democratically chosen by all the staff members, which will look into the problem and they can make several sub-committee's which will look for individuals to fill in the places of the final usergroup which will actually do stuff.

If that's all put through, in a year or two, we can let them have a trial period. So that we can see the first results in a year or three.

j/k :P, it sounds a little burocratic, but if it's done in a proper way, It'll be a good idea ^^.

here's an idea for ya...

each staff member chooses one player that he would like to see in the usergroup, and Frank and Shag will approve that list....and viola! u have a usergroup....

isnt that pretty much what happens now?

a player makes a suggestion...Others comment on it (including the staff team)

then an admin/gm will usually say if its possible or not

i dont really see the point, the suggestions thread is there so that people can make and discuss suggestions

Almost true Burns.
First of all, sometimes it takes pretty long before any of the staff members actually reply on a suggestions topic.
Second, sometimes players know more then the GMs themselves as they have more playing experience so teaming them up could help.

and ull see the answer u will get is 2 maximum...

when u make it more organized things actually happen...
they dont have to happen right away, it could be things that Shag will take into consideration and will implement when he makes the next patch...

Yes, but you also have to keep in mind that a lot of suggestions are made that wouldn't even make it when you did it organised. :P
But you're right, right now the good suggestions are also overlooked faster.

and maybe it could beocme part of the stas roles to check the suggestions thread regularly

Burns, I actually check the suggestions forum a lot. :P
I just don't always have a conclusive answer as I do not decide the changes to the server.

EDIT - I've created a list of the active suggestions in 2010 and will keep this updated. This should be a start. ^^
