I believe this can be an interesting topic for a debate...

SO what is your opinion?

do you dislike people coming from abroad to work in your country?

or do you think its OK?

I personally think it's good not only because I am a foreigner here in the UK but I think that everyone should be able to decide where they want to live, work or study.

so what do you think?

please keep it clean, no hating, no swearing or name calling...

just a simple and nice debate, thanks

I don't mind people comming from other countries to the country I live in. I think it is good for a culture to meet other cultures. It becomes in every way so much more rich. Whe wouldn't have had Chinees, Thais, Italian food (or Kebab  ) if it wasn't for migration.

Wouldn't it be very boring if everyone just kept to their own spot?

Not just food but traditions and cultures as well, i am open person to all nationalities and i really like meeting new people, especially from far away so either me going to another country or people coming in to mine is absolutely fine to me, i will gladly make them welcome...

on another note sometimes people from my country (Kamrads) made me feel really ashamed because what they do abroad... they fight, abuse benefits and show their worst side... Sometimes I have to hide the fact that im Polish because I dont want to have anything to do with psychos, i know its bad and may seem ignorant but im trying to stay out of trouble and live peaceful life...

but then you should never be ashamed of who you are and im not really its just occasionally they piss me of by what they do... but there is good and bad in all...

Also just to add I would like all the people to take part in the debate and share their opinions, not just the ones that live abroad or there is people who come to your country, just let us know what you think about it all :)

In Latvia right now. No isn't hard if you have friends there or any other contacts + money.i moved here with my brother so am not alone YOu can become fully citizen fast here not like in America after 5 years . Latvia in fact is shitty country fucked economy and shitty government Latvia is still recovering from Russian occupation here is more Russians now than Latvians. With money what we earned in States we live like kings here.
Winters are cold here to btw.the only thing whats pisses me off here that in radios they talk allot about American Economy how it is falling but in meanwhile they can't even prevent theyr problems putting theyr long noses in other bussines.

yea exactly same situation in Poland, where i used to live... after world wars and communism we have basically started over, from scratch...

but people take advantage of the situation, government corrupted, police corrupted, councils corrupted and i could go on and on and on...

they are also talking bullshit about other countries problems and falling down like you said they do over there, and yea they should look at themselves first and then judge others...

its sad that people need to look for home away from their real homes where they struggle because of some assholes wearing suits...

I'm a foreigner myself living in California. As all immigrants had experienced, living in a place where you didn't its language and culture is not easy. The place where I live is crowded with immigrants, so I don't feel there are any dislikes. People are all different regardless of their ethnicity background, some welcome you while others displease you. So, there is no reason to feel bad just because your people hated foreigners.

When it comes to this topic i am mixed, and i feel with the way the job market is here now, immigrants will take up all the jobs ect,and leave the natural usa born citizens with nothing. I shouldn't have to compete with an immigrant for a job, because they would would work for cheaper wages

yeah and American companies are hiring them to put more money in their pockets, they are feeding the problem and increasing the strain while they"get theirs" and run over hard workers in the process.

well the jobs are there so why don't take opportunity and apply for it? there must be reason that foreigners are getting these jobs, working harder? doing jobs that other people dont want to do?

My parents were refugees, but I was born here in Australia. I understand peoples' concern for their jobs being taken up by immigrants. It's scary and daunting to think there are less jobs in the market should you ever be looking. That said, I think how hard immigrants work relative to citizens of the country is a judgement that no one can accurately estimate. The fact that a lot of immigrants and refugees come here with little to no money, and still manage to make a life for themselves and their family on such low pay should be testament to how hard they actually work. I'm not saying they work harder than anyone, I just think their effort shouldn't be discredited.

Anyway, I'm fine with immigrants coming into the country and working. Even though it kind of eats away at the back of your mind, making you feel a little insecure... at the end of the day we have to remember most of these people just want a better life for their family. They're just like you or me and they should be given a chance to make their families happy.
