Sig swapping / fading

Hey fellas..

Hope you can understand what i mean:

I dont like have more than 2 sigs..

is there a script or a simple way to fade from one sig to another..
1 sig fades out, then a new sig comes in..

is it possible to have the sigs individually animated?

Can you give me a link to a site I can use?

Please give me any information you have on this..
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I don't know if theres a script for it, but it can be made with photoshop.

However if you make it in photoshop, you should make the sigs the same size.

I you make it with PS and have a lot of sigs the file will be huuuge. xD
I'm afraid there is no way to fade sigs in and out with a script.
You can however use a script which shows a random sig from some list (your list of sigs for example) every time your signature is loaded.

And the sigs can be animated?

I understand they have to be the same size.. ;)

If yes, cool..

Maybe I get a few together.. then setup request ;)

Yes, with that script they can be animated.
No, with that script they do NOT have to be the same size.

They do have to be the same filetype though. ^^

The way Max is doing it is putting all the signatures in one .gif image.
This would either mean using signatures of the same size (like Max said) or using transparency (gif transparency sux...) so yeah, you'd probably need all signatures to be the same size for that to make it look best.
The advantage of that way is that you can fade the signatures into eachother while not having to reload the page your viewing.
A disadvantage is that the file will get pretty huge if you have several signatures, this also results in a lot of quality loss (gif again -.-).

The way I do it is pretty different.
I place all signature files in some folder on some server.
Then I make a php script which randomly chooses one of the signatures placed in that folder and displays it.
The disadvantage of this is that you will have to reload the page in order to see another signature (however on the forums you're reloading a whole bunch so that wouldn't really matter).
The advantage of this is that every time you load the signature you will only load one file which will keep it small, you also do not have any gif quality reduction as you can keep your signatures in the png or jpg format.

Basically my way works somewhat the same as the dynamic signatures.
To do this you don't have to be a GFX master or anything like that... You need to be a little handy with php. ^^
