Battle of the Titans - Rules and information
 

Ok, here we go.


The rules:

- No ripping!
Ripping is bad and will result in being kicked from the contest immediately.
- Entries must include a psd file
This prevents a little from ripping and it's easier to see what techniques were used, something quite important when rating an image.
You can send me each psd through email if you can't host it.
Of course it's also expected you post a normal image file on the forums so others can see what you made.
This means an entry consists of a normal image file (jpg, png), a photoshop file (psd) and (if specified in the round) files used to make the artwork.

Only 2 rules, should be easy right?

The rounds:

Round 1: Entering the contest - Finished
People can nominate their favorite GFX artist in the competition.

Round 2: Creating a signature - Finished
The contestants will create a signature with a theme chosen by one of the contestants.

Round 3: Rendering - Finished
The contestants will cut out an image which is chosen by one of the contestants.

Round 4: Photo editing/manipulation - Finished
The contestants will edit and/or manipulate a photo which is chosen by one of the contestants.

Round 5: Creating a signature - Finished
The contestants will create a signature with a render chosen by one of the contestants.

Round 6: Creating a background - Finished
The contestants will create a background with a theme chosen by one of the contestants.

Round 7: Up to Judobreaker
What needs to be done in this round will be up to Judobreaker.

Round 8: Up to SprBean
What needs to be done in this round will be up to SprBean.

Round 9: Up to Shrapn3LL
What needs to be done in this round will be up to Shrapn3LL.

Round 10: Up to TheFury
What needs to be done in this round will be up to TheFury.

Round 11: Up to MissDeadly
What needs to be done in this round will be up to MissDeadly.

Round 12: Twilight voting most popular
All Twilight users can vote the GFX artist they think did best in this competition. This contestant will get the public award. (Not sure if this will be anything but at least you have the fame.)
This round also counts in the overall rating.


As you can see there are 5 rounds in which the assignent is up to one of the contestants.
Once we start on a round like that I will ask that contestant what he/she would like to be the assignment.
The assignment can be anything (backgrounds, signatures, photo edits, etc).


Also you can see that the other rounds will be partially decided by one of teh contestants.

The judges
The rounds will be judged by a team which I will assamble.
This team will consist of a few members of my own site (they will be the pro judges) and a few Twilight members (they will represent the Twilight community).
I will assemble this team as soon as possible.

The Absolute GFX-Titan
At the end of the race, the Absolute GFX-Titan will be the one that has won the most rounds.
If in one way or another 2 or more people result in a tie, the winner will be decided in a final battle between these contestants. What the assignment in this round will be shall be decided by Phoenix.

lol come on we should start already i want to see what my master can pull out of his old dusty hat (lol go judo) and the grasshoper he will have something good also (go TheFury) but i still want to see what everyone eles comes up with.

maybe kinda late to change all this but why not Top 10 Titans :P?
