This can be useful to see selling/buying offers from other people without having to stay 24/7 at your PC to see them in-game... and also gives you a chance to see what chatting you may have missed while you were offline.

The chat is sorted by dates, you can use the navigation links to go back or forward between different dates and see the chat from that specific day.
