hmmm, here's my constructive criticism:
-first, whats with the green spot? it draws attention to nothing but a bare spot that's discolored from the rest of the signature
-the text is kinda hard to read without having to focus on it directly to make out what it says. try adding a border around the text to define the letters more. from what i can see the text has over-lay? this effect kind of makes it harder to read.
-for the 'gm-sad', the font could get enlarged to draw attention to the name, as that is what a signature represents.
other than that, nice job, didn't know you made signatures =D feel free to ignore my suggestions though lol

well, yeah but sometimes i wonder if my advice is bad? plus different people have different taste in art.
but i agree about the border though....its so...plain. you can try a dark solid border 1px on outside, and then a white overlay border 1px inside the solid border. but then everyone has that style of border, so yeah, your decision totaly.

hmm, so a completely different one huh? ^^ i like the overall idea/concept of the signature except here is what i think could be improved:
- you used an eraser to get rid of the background of the render didn't you?, try using the magic wand with very low tolerance and then you can remove the the white parts left over by going [Layers>Matting>Remove White Matte] this should make your dog have a crisp border.
- the effect that is distorting the animation is kinda making the render look messy, although with this effect it is blending in easily with the background if that was your intention.
-and lastly the border could be less pixels i guess

lol thanks, it seems that i know all the concepts of Photoshop, i just dont know how to achieve them ^^. I do everything the roundabout way. Eg. using eraser instead of wand.
See i never would have thought of that. :)
The render does appear kinda messy now that i look at it, but i think i would sacrifice some tidyness to keep its blend with the background.
Also the Border is just how I want it.

First of all, if you want to learn to create real good cutouts forget about the magic wand tool (no offence exQuisite :P), in most cases nice sharp cutouts are all about the pen tool.

About the signatures...
Your signatures seem to be a bit messy, and there's a few reasons for that:
1. On the first signature the text is quite hard to read.
Try making the text better readable by adding shadows or borders.
2. The way you tried to blend the render into the background on the second signature.
3. This is the most important one: Where is your focal point?
A focal point is very important, right now your whole signature is attracting the eye, there is no main point which calls to the eye (if you know what I mean :P).
There are several ways to create a focal point, just search google for some tutorials, I might post some myself later.
All in all, there is some good potential in these signatures, they just need some work.
Keep it up.

everyne else has pretty much said it already ^^
for the text in the 1st sig:
1) right click the text layer ---> Blending options
2) go down to the last one and select the stroke option
3) set the stroke color to black and the thickness to 1
this will give ya a nice black stroke round the text, making it more visible
also shadow, (which judo mentioned) and outer glow can be found here ^^
oh and the boredrs a bit too hmmm in your face type thing, should be more discrete
usually a black 1px stroke border or a black/white combo set to over lay look best
but there is some good work here
PS: this is just for the 1st sig as i cannot see the 2nd one :S

A border doesn't have to be small, small borders are one style, big borders another...
This one actually isn't really big, I myself used to do a lot bigger. :P
