I just got back from a zoology-based camp yesterday. We were all given group projects to work with. Our project involved making lily pads for frogs in a nearby pond and assessing their water-loss/temperature levels throughout the day. Unfortunately, one of our lily pads capsized and in order to retrieve it, we had to tie two sticks together with one of our shoelaces, and anchor each other as seen below. Admittedly, it was funnier for us at the time because of the context, but because I don't think I'll remember to upload anything over the next few weeks, this will be my submission. :)

Technology, my work has a lot to do with technology. For this theme I want to show you the result of one of the most used and important technologies in my kind of profession. The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
You may know this kind of picture from CSI-like series, there is a lot more to it then most of you probably know. This picture shows a result from my internship project about a parasite in an invasive fish species in the Netherlands. The bands show the amplified products. In this case the presence of a parasite in the caught invasive fish.

Ok straight to the point now. This picture taken at my apartment shows how technology fast evolves and you can keep old stuff in your home or work.
You can see the tecnology cliff between XBOX and that OLD mofo radio... You can also compare the TV x RADIO... Funny huh?

There is! Long Time that i don't get around and i decided come back in a great style ^^
Weeeeeel so it is technology, right?? I could go around my house taking photos from my PS3, my Wii or even my ATARI (yeah, i got one... ) and these stuff that i love... but than i stopped and thought twice... Well... everyone can have it... And I am different... i wanna make something different...
Than i remembered what a university from Brasil does to be technologically and ecologically correct at the same time. The University ESTÁCIO DE SÁ innovated when decided to change the books and the paper waste for tablets. So, everything that u need to study comes inside the Tablet. And u can think that it still is ecologically incorrect, but it is not... because u only get 1 for like 5 years on university... And when u leave the university, the tablet may back to it to be reused for someone else...
And that is the Tablet that the university gives for his students...
( Well... There is a PS3 controller too XD )

Well, alright Guys we are here talking about Technology, For myself Technology is something always i meet in my work !!! and as always i get surprised everyday... we gonna talk now about real Technology...The most advanced systems are used for automatic control, alarms, and emergency
shutdown via a digital Distributed Control System (DCS) depends on the newest technology of that field.
Also using Advanced Process Control and Optimization system.
