I've been using Vista a year now. My computers uptime is always a month before it restarts to install some updates. But the same applied also to XP. Vista and XP are both usable operating systems if they are being used right. Both have some advantages and some disadvantages. Will be fun to see how the release of the new Windows goes next year. I agree with LUCKY that people usually think negatively about things that they are unfamiliar with. Well, I've used Mac, all MS OSs and various Unix/Linux distributions so I can be quite objective. Try new things before you judge them.  |

i moved the topic cause only staff are supposed to make polls, not regular players.
I also want to add that vista is way better now than xp, and even tho xp has the direct x 10 patch it is not really direct x 10. I run 3 geforce 280 gtx cards in quad sli mode. Now in xp in quad i can only utilize 2 gpu's in 4 way afr mode. in vista i can use all 4 gpu's for some intense max graphics. So it goes to prove for a true gamer vista is needed cause xp can't step up to the plate.

vista is hard for those that arent used to the new windows.
Some dont seem to get wen windows 95 chanegd to 98, then millenium the 2000...And wen it wen to xp some that still had 95 to 2000, was saying xp sucked
Now that vista is out its the same, just some dont kno how to use vista. i have both on 2 different comps, and the ultimate i love it
but now wait till Windows Xp7 comes out in 2011...its the 7th version of wondows...WAT will ppl say about it when they change to Xp7
