no it is not user friendly.
it is for ppl who have used photoshop b4.
but
i may suggest u start off with photoshop elements that is more user friendly

hmmm yeah cs3, and even cs2 are fine
it is user friendly if you now how to use it :P
and there are plenty of tutorials around, or ya can ask me if ya need any help (if i know ^^)

Zak, PS CS4 is good for all that stuff. although if you never used photoshop before it might be a bit tricky for user friendly, best you can do then is follow some basic tutorials of photoshop

I always use Cs4
Its only user friendly if your familiar with its older versions.
However, on the internet they do have awsome vids that teach you how to master cs4 in like no time.
