Yes the computer will work if you put the parts together, they are all compatible!
It wouldn't hurt add more 2GB of ram ^^
The gfx card is excellent! But if you have some more spare money to invest, they now have the HD5800/5900s that suports Directx 11 (even though not many games are dx11 yet)
No worries about the build
EDIT: Do not add1gb of ram. If you wish to add ram, then buy another 2GB Kingston 1066 DD3 so both sticks will work on Dual Channel (your mobo suports it)
When talking about memory upgrades its smart to get a 64-bit OS...
Here is a chart of OSs and the amouth of memory they support:
It says 4gb... But that is just THEORICALLY, since 2^32=4gb. But thats not the realistic limit.
I mean that even though it says 4GB support, there is no way to make all of the RAM between 3Gb and 4Gb available without installing a 64-bit OS... Your bios may detect 4gb, but your OS will probably manage about 3,25gb out of the 4.
But you know if you just want a pc to play MU and things like that, you will hardly even need more than 2gb

thanks GuBR m8
yeah i like my gfx card , but hmm....im already feeling a little bit guilty using the HD5700series, so...maybe later xD
and about the ram, im thinking of buying two 2GB DDR3 ram sticks.
for the 4GB ram, yes my OS can only use 3.25GB of ram but i want to try using "ramdisk" to catch the remaining "0.75GB of ram" ??
one last question
whats the difference between "Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition Retail Upgrade" and "Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition 64BIT DVD OEM " >< ??
The retail upgrade is actually more expensive than the microsoft windows 7 pro edition 64bit dvd oem ><
hmm, i thought the retail upgrade is just upgrading from my current "upgradable" os ?? so hmm...should be cheaper >< ?
thx a lot for all the help ^^

Im not 100% sure on the 1st one... I think it's one of those disks that you can actually upgrade your current windows to the Professional Edition one (not deleting files that don't need to be deleted); rather than installing the whole windows from ground zero
And the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) one is when a company purchases the Windows copy from Microsoft, and then resells it to the end user (you ^^) under their name, and not microsoft's name... For example it happens if you buy a Dell Computer and it comes with Windows installed when you never actually bought windows from microsoft. It does tend to be cheaper

ANDY thats a pretty neat comp your building.. NO need to worry if everything is compatible...as long as you install it correctly, you will have no issues.....
Also as for your motherboard if the CD to the motherboard only has drivers fr Xp or vista... install as is, and when all done installing, go to the motherboard website and download the windows 7 drivers and upgrade...its easy
As for your Motherboard it is a great crossfire, I seen you are going to use Kinston, they are a grood ram compnay, But i really love and reccomend Cosair Value select.
When using your memory ram make sure u add the same ram in add 1 miss 1 spot... Example if u use (2) 2 gig stick of ram on 1st slot, use another 2 gig ram on 3rd slot.
making it Polularity upoluarity popularity unpoularity, If u put a 1 gig or 2 gig in 2nd slot add the other in the 4th slot.... Do Not put ram stick example as 1 gig in 1st slot and 1 gig in 2nd slot.
(ALSO) see if u can get ram stick heat shields
The Case is great, fans on top, sides, front , back...great cooling machingThe graphic card is good...See if its direct x 11 compatible, if you tend to go higher in your operating system..
As for the operating system you will use Windows 7 32 bit... Alot like the 64 bit but not alot of softwares are yet 64 bit compatible...
A 32 bit will only go as high as 4 gigs of ram...do not try to go higher... ^4 bit will go to 192 gigs of ram but thats only if OVERclocking.... If not overclocking 64 bit will only go as high as 128 gigs of ram.
Als a reminder MU also tends to crash on a 64 bit computer.... My suggestion, if u have a windows xp cd.. get a low gig hard drie example 20 gig or 40 gig, add the windows xp and use it for Mu and other non compatible stuff...as i do
My windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit AND my windows 7 Ultimate is for my usage, and my other hard drive i use windows xp and MU.
Go build that beast... any issues post i will help yuo here or on msn..

Motherboard i recommend is asus m4n72-e. Sli graphics also an extra gpu on the board to make it quade sli instead of sli. The board can handle max ram of 16gbs. I have windows 7 ultimate and i use 8gb's of ram dual channel with no problems. Get the windows 7 ultimate thats the full version with nothing missing, unlike the others whixh are stripped down versions.

hihi again everyone :)
hmm, tomorrow will be the day i go buy my parts and assemble them together, however, before this, i have a little question about graphic card
as you guys can see, im using the newly bought HD 5750 graphic, but before this graphic card, i was using 8500 gt 1GB DDR3.
now, my question is....since my motherboard supports double graphic card, i was wondering if i can using both my 8500GT and HD 5750.
the reason im using both is because i want to take a good care of my HD 5750 . how?. hmm, well for mu and other long hours work when i have to open my pc for a long time, i want to use my old 8500GT (give my HD 5750 a rest, trying to avoid the long term heating of gfx), but when i want to play pc game which requires better graphic card, then i'll switch to HD 5750.
hmm, is this possible guys >< ?? or hmm...am i just being too....too....yeah.... unnecessary >< ?
thx for the help again guys
andy
