why is that? I was thinking to choose the type of poll where you can give a grade to each of the applicants, but maybe just from 1-5, not to 10, so there won't be such a big difference between the people...

seems a bit fair to have the possibility to grade everyone and not just choose one of the whole bunch of them

I agree with u but the problem is that if the person wants to vote on 1 person, she will give a 10 to that person and wont even bother grading the others lol!

like the number of people who graded the winners is really really greater than the number of ppl who graded who didnt... So obsviusly won!

For example, I get 5 tens
Then the other person gets 15 tens coz of his popularity/ally w/e

like how can I win if people didnt bother looking at my app

he owned me even if I got 100% ten
makes no sense!!

Voting would be less unfair if it was like the elections: You click the name u want and thats it.

I am not complaining though I am just giving my opinion : D

well, first of all, there won't be a grade zero lol it will start from 1...

second, if that person gives a player 10 and doesn't grade you, or gives you the lowest mark, is the same as if he gave his vote to someone else and didn't vote you at all, at the system of voting you suggested...

also, if you get 5 tens and another person gets 15...it's the same with you getting 5 votes and the other person 15...

and I don't know about the dividing issue...cause that's the point in having the possibility to grade from 1 to 10 or whatever, so you can give whatever grade you think it suits that person best...

Some ppl will want to do it fair
some wont

so it wont be fully the way i suggested
and wont be fully the opposite
it will be unknown crap =p

like some people will want to actually judge and give 4..5..6..7... And some will take it as a single voting thing.

I still think the most fair thing is to add and divide!
For example you got the grades 10, 10, 5, 5, 5,1

u add and find 36, divide by 6 and ur average is 6!

then I got 10, 9, 9, 8, 1,1, 1, 1

add and find 40 , divide by 8 = 5

u win =p
