well I finally ended up with an Intel Quad core Q9650 processor and for a vid card I chose a Nvidia Geforce GTX285 1gig ram until prices come down to where I can afford a 2nd card, which is why I chose the Striker II formula motherboard for a full 16X16 mode when running SLI with 2 cards.
made a few changes in my network so far. went to belkins N router and went wireless on my pc. very stable on mine with vista, however I couldn't get the wifes pc to go wireless with her xp so I kept the cabled connection until I can figure it out on hers. I'm not sure, maybe I got a bad USB adapter, I will try mine in hers on my next days off.
