ATI crossfire 5xxx series
hello all
just wondering that if i want to crossfire my ati hd radeon 5750, do i have to have another exact copy of ati hd radeon 5750 ??
hmm, i was wondering can i crossfire 5750 with like...maybe 5770 or a cheaper one 5670 ??

You can crossfire whatever you want, but understand that the pairing will only function at the rate of the slowest card. Your best bet is to buy a identical card for the best performance and least amount of issues.

the problem is those cards are pricey...
im currently assembling the parts for my new comp and will probably go for a 5870 1g gddr5...
check out the price on that one and think how much 2 would cost :P

CrossFireX
CrossFireX works by allowing your system to seperate and use each card to manage certain things, as long as the cards are CrossFire Ready it doesn't matter what you use, but if you have not already gotten video cards, 2 slightly slower or lower end video cards will run better than that one slightly better one because it doesn't have to process everything with only 1 card
Remember that your video cards can only move as fast as the processor will let it, make sure you have a decent processor to handle it or there is really no point it will just stress anyways
