All it really takes is for everyone to be a bigger person! forgetting old grudges and going out of there way to help fellow players, a little more respect and manners from most is all it takes to make a good environment not only for the oldschool players, but also the new ones coming in!

If I am correct this game can be taken in the perspective of medieval times. Since this is the case, we can consider each player as someone wanting to obtain power. Once you obtain the power, you join your friends in guilds. Through these guilds you let your power be known, the only way to show that is winning. Castle Siege is a good example, and no matter what kind of society you want, NO MATTER WHAT GAME: There will always be WAR. Humans aren't peaceful. Power is what makes people thrive, and that energy and thirst can come out in video games. You can't change that, because that is how people are.
My personal opinion:
Peace is nice, but not fun on a game based on PvP. I love a good war with some trash talk and fighting. The game is very slow paced, and a war makes it even better. It's not about being the nice guy, it is about making a fun game experience for yourself. There are people in the world that want you to be afraid, even on a game. It brings a challenging and fun aspect. Again, I look at it in a medieval game, which war, hatred, and power was in control. What is more fun than seeing 2 guilds go at it at Devias Gate killing each other to see what guild is left outside.
Creating rivals in the game is a key part of it. Player VS. Player. You train in order to beat your rivals. You train in order to even have rivals, because once you get out there in guilds and such, you are bound to be fighting. Kill stealing happens all of the time, and that is a little fun aspect to training sometimes too. You want to beat them out, it is always fun. Of course, when you really can't do anything about it if they are stronger than you by far, you keep that in mind that keep pushing until you can match them, if not beat.
There are always people who will be there annoying you, even when they have lost. Hell I annoyed the crap out of Penh, which was HILARIOUS. I know I couldn't beat him in the game, but it was fun while it was going on. Nobody really cares in the end, holding grudges is what causes a terrible community.
On the note of bugs/glitches:
Whoever does that is just a sore loser. No point. If you take a look at our Staff team, they are amazing at exploiting hackers and catching bug abusers. Castle siege is pretty much set, so that isn't even a problem anymore.
The game has a GREAT balance between PvP and non-PVP players. There are events every hour that you can hunt items for and get items in. Be an account trader and buyer, a merchant, what ever the hell you want to be if you don't want to do PvP. I promise you, your Guild will never ask you to kill someone if you don't want to. BUT that won't stop them from killing you. I also promise you a good, nay, Great guild leader will respect any decisions towards leaving until a war is done with. You have no obligation to fight if that is not what you want to do.
In the end: Just do what you want to do in order to make the game fun for YOU. Not anyone else. If you wanna trash talk and join guilds to fight, DO IT. If you wanna just lay back, RR different characters and be friends with everyone, no one is stopping you. We are all friendly if you're friendly. We are all hostile if you're hostile.
