I agree with JB that a new database should be set. I think I would actually start a char on a new server which would provide challenge. On the other hand, I don't think that the majority of players in Twilight would follow since Twilight as it is provides a lot of challenge, at least in the beginning, and collecting sets is hard enough.

And Raistlin,
IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT THE RESETS. Sets, Wings, Weapons are a big part of it!!! Not only partying is a good way to have fun with other people! You can also hunt for items with them!

What comes to the beginners, problem at the moment is that beginners have a hard time hunting and must rely too much on advanced players. Yeah, giving extra stat points and 2 weeks of VIP are both really good ideas, but also we need to make hunting of basic items a bit easier for them. Or at least make a section on the forum where they could sell/buy/trade their BOK drops etc. Yeah, I know, marketplace is the place for that but somehow the noobs don't seem to find their way there and have hard time figuring it out since it also has lot's of advanced stuff on sale.

CANT SAY MORE!! (i know im not that old too, i dont make alot of useful posts bla bla) but some 5 yr old kiddos rly annoy me, when they just learnt how to surf in web, ask parents to make u account AND THEN PLAY without single idea of english...

Also if u want to make game harder, start a new chara, promise urself ur not taking tc or good items from ur good chara, or pt it, there u have a challenge! try make all classes 500 elite, there u have a challenge..

I can see it being a cool idea making every1 equal in a way. Where everyone is fighting for that 1st rr in the game.
But ive been here for nearly 3 years and have only just about coming up to 200 rrs. ive worked so hard to get this far, and alot of other players have as well. I certainly wouldnt be making another char! All that hard work u've put in will go down the drain, imo its not worth it.

I really like the idea of giving new players vip tokens again, that was great when we had it. It gives them something to aim for, instead of quitting before they even hit their 1st rr

Look at all the ppl who lost their sets when resetting, did they quit?
Look at all the ppl who sold their high rr character and started a new one, did they quit?

Most of you play this game because you like it. It would piss you off, but even the loss of your tons of resets would not deter most of you from playing again.

Losing a set cost me 10k TC -- I got over it. When you sell a char you get TC to compensate your loss.

If I lost 2.5 year work and all the RRs and items worth hundreds of thousands of TC, no, I wouldn't play again. Get real.

Make mobs strongers (and i mean Stronger!; P) and dont make them respawn in same place. Also make them give littlebit more exp so it wouldnt take "million years" but still longer than nowdays to rr.

If the mobs would be stronger even high rr guys would need to pt and walk around in maps killing mobs, not just standing in 1place alone 1hitting ewerysingle thing you see.

Make bc ds and such events give bigger exp price after u finish them so ppl would go there wiht parties and get exp.

Dunno how this helps new players to stay here, but big rr guys would have something to do.

And btw just a succession...

wow, took me a long time to read every post here ^^

ok so, 1st off all, i gotta admit that Raistlin always comes up with interesting ideas for the sv, i can remeber seeing the attempt of making a guild with 0 rr ppl and no items from another accounts... hell, that was actually daring ^^

but this idea, well.. i can perfectly see ur point, dont get me wrong... Devias gate usually its a place where i cant go, since theres usually a high rr ppl (higher than me) that pwns my ass while im just passing by ^^... i still remeber trying to go over there when i just started here, and, thx god, RanitaRene (who was the one that brought me here) actually explained me that devias gate was not available for noobs xD....

also, it its tru that nowadays most things come to the point on getting more resets to become stronger to get more resets to become stronger to get more resets to become stronger to kick every1s ass ^^... but there are still chalenges around...

i mean, for crist sake, since i started i been whiling to complete only 1 special set that i really like, and its been more than 1 and a half years and i only have 3 parts of it xD...

if u only focus on beeing the best in the sv and kill every1 and beeing reckon of ur power, well then, gl with it... there are more and more and more maxed elite players coming on the rankings, and each and every one of them have their things and all....

There are a lot of things (at least thats what i see) that u can actually do! What about completing a weird set? Try new events with new players to show them around? Making a new char, to test his power?... the list can go on actually...

Took me long enough to get to the point i am right now, i went to vip silver only 1 time ever since im here in twi, so u can figure out that its not easy cake to get rrs and stuff and w/e...

admins try their best to balance out this sv, and they are actually doing a great job...
theres a difference really big btwn elite players and normal players, yeah, thats tru... but i gotta admit that just makes me keep going training, to try at least to represent something... even if that is "Hey, thats the noob with normal resets that gets pwned everywhere! Look at him!"... frankly, who gives a shit? ^^ i love this sv the way it is, i have found just freaking awesome ppl around, friends, partners and all, that make me come back every day after work, at least just to say Hi =)

i still think i have a lot of things to do here, and i need my rrs to make them xD
