Ill try make it short and simple..!

My idea is to go back to old school days when as new players we were all rewarded with TC as we hit our first milestone with our resets. If I remember rightly, I think we got 500 TC when we hit 10 rr, which seriously helped us out at that stage in the game.

I understand that the IP system is similar but I was thinking maybe try create a script so when the new player reaches a certain amount of resets (30 is my suggestion) then they are rewarded with a 2 week free trial in the silver VIP servers.

This will give them a boost when they loose their 4k bonus stats, and also give them a taste of what VIP life is like and could encourage them to donate for / earn the TC to get back into the VIP server and continue their reset mission, therefore keeping them in the game.

This is purely aimed at keeping new players in the server. I for one would not benefit from this if it were to be introduced at all. I understand that Twilight is hard for some, but in my case I came back after 5 years and had 80 resets (normal), i'm just about to finish my 3rd gold VIP session and I should make 120 elite rr and in a couple more VIP sessions I will be max. I don't believe rewarding players with TC should be the case as good players would leech this system in order to profit for their main accounts, but I do believe that giving them a taste of the VIP life will almost definitely encourage them to donate or earn the TC in order to get faster resets and continue playing the game.

Scenario: 'Its taken the new player a month to hit 15 resets and all of a sudden they loose their 4k bonus stats and can no longer solo the aida mobs, a big set back to their self confidence and willingness to see that they have made any progression in the game in the past month. Oh well, another 15 resets and they have got a 2 week free ride in silver VIP. So it takes them another month to make the silver VIP milestone, giving them that extra drive and motivation to work towards this next milestone, doing what ever means necessary to make and store the zen in order to make this 'free ride' worth while. A noob is going to get maximum 70 resets in this 2 week period but I estimate most wont even make 50, taking them to a total of 80 resets.

Now the logic behind this is: 6 weeks ago when they just lost their 4k bonus stats, could no longer solo the aida mobs and were struggling to find the will to continue playing the game, they are now at a point where they can solo the aida mobs and have a choice whether to continue playing at the 'Hard exp rates,' in server 1,2,3 and 4, or join the VIP crew, donate, and start moving up the ranking ladder at a reasonable pace.

Its just a suggestion bro, I appreciate the feedback, but just try and look at it from a noobs perspective

In reality most noobs, get gold vip anyways. Us offering 4k stats was not fair to the other players, who struggled with resets with no extra stats. Ip points is also offered. To keep track of all players who make the rr to get free 2 wek silver would be a fiscal headache. Look at out stand point, enough has been offered to the noobs, when we move the beta to main serverperm, we are gonna run a sub server for noobs.

Would this work by running 2 separate databases and the transfer being done manually?

If the following makes sense:

I think a good idea would be to allow access to servers 1 and 2 for accounts with no elite characters and servers 3 and 4 for accounts with elite characters by getting the gameserver.exe to read the resets column in the database and determine which servers the character can access by itself. This would save all the hassle of manually transferring data between databases, and save any stress on the hardware that's running the 2 databases, reducing any lag that this might generate.

Not sure how the database is laid out or if any of that makes sense hahaha, just an idea of how it could work :)

Participation with new players will help grow the server, partying and helping out, if you have any questions in game send me a message, I can easily help you avoid certain troubles with new players or questions just ask, before you start giving items away to help someone, think are they really new players? will they play for more than one day, am i helping anyone really by loading them up with more than i had when i started ? players who stay and pay will not leave if you dont HOOK them up, so try to be patient as this is long term.
