voting script

The voting system works on a standard HTTP POST

I could probably knock up a perl script which I could have my linux box run to submit a vote on a chron job several times a day.

If anyone else has a linux box we could run the script on, or if any of the staff dont like this idea then now would be a good time to say so.

:P i dont think staff will mind, extreme 100 or w/e they are have a very bad attitude towards the legitimacy of their list. if u can make this script, send it my way

NOTE : This script does not spoof IP or spam the submission. It is meant to be run one off, or if the print line at the bottom is removed, it can be done as a chron job, but it will not allow for voting above the limits set by xtremetop100.

well i have this script running 3x a day now...

whats the maximum frequency i can set it to? I heard it was once every 15 mins?

that would give 672 per week and if theexcused or someone else sets it up we can double or treble that figure.
