2nd try at PS ^^
okay this one was thrown together ina few minutes ^_^
wanted to try a background that wasnt rendered on PS.... i had a vision that the background and the sonic were going to work well together, but it didnt quite work out that way ^^
I did, though, find out how to make a border ^_^
post what ya think. (bad things are okay to post on this one =P)
EDIT: Sonic was requested... only reason he's there =P

constructive criticism:
your text seems a little rough, which text style did you use? none/sharp/crisp/strong/smooth? because it looks like its 'none' which gives a rough look, any of the other options would make the text smoother. this also leads to the whole 'anti-alias' buisness

well for some reason... the way i saved it.... all the layers didnt get saved, it just got combined into one solid layer.... but...
for the "Mavric" part of the text, i believe it was sharp
and the pixel text is on None... as indicated by judo's tutorial =P
oh and btw... i havent installed any fonts or brushes (other than the pixel text)... so i dont have much variety =P

You should save 2 copies.
One in psd (Photoshop standard file format, keeps layers, layer styles and other PS stuff) and one in jpg or png (for forum use).
